This is a photo of downtown Doha and the Corniche just goes along the water for about 7 km. Notice the unmissable cranes. A few other photos below will show you the view from outside my hotel window.I managed to sleep until 4am. Things are looking up. It was so humid this morning running. I passed Shibu twice on the Corniche as he was walking in the opposite direction. He is an adorable indian man who works with us and does a lot of the driving around.
Daytime temperatures are pretty much 35C these days but I hear it will be cool in December. I have trouble believing that though. However the air con is on everywhere. We live behind glass windows and there it is quite comfortable.

This is the lovely view outside my window...see I wasn't kidding. It's a hive of activity day and night and the floor in my room gets full of dust and sand particules within a day of being cleaned.
Looks like they're buidling giant sand castles.

In a few years this will look like a totally different place.
Pretty busy at work so I'll leave it at that for today. We are delivering job specific training to our volunteers tomorrow evening and I have so much to do before I concentrate on that.
More interesting news to come. Thanks for the feedback from those who emailed. Until next time...
